Douglas P. Kummer, DDS
Dr. Kummer is a general dentist. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and has been here most of his life. He went to Lindbergh High School with his older brother (Matt) and his younger sister (Stacy). He graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Minor in Chemistry. He went to dental school at University Missouri Kansas City; where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He is a member of the Academy General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, St. Louis Dental Society, and Meramec Study Club. He has a wife (Kelli) and two boys (Gavin-6; Logan-3). He spends most of his time with his family and he enjoys the outdoors and sports (tennis, running, biking, baseball).
Yvonne - RDH
Yvonne has been married to Doyle for 40 years! They have 2 grown children, 3 grandchildren, along with grand cats and grand dogs. She graduated from De Soto High School. Yvonne graduated from Forest Park for Dental Hygiene and has been a hygienist for 20 years in this office. In her free time she enjoys traveling, quilting and reading mystery books.
Ashley - RDH
Ashley has always been interested in dentistry since she was very young. After starting out as a dental assistant at this office, she went on to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2010 after graduating from the Missouri Southern States University. Ashley was born, raised and currently resides in De Soto with her boyfriend, 3 kids and 2 cats. When she isn’t cleaning teeth, she likes outdoor activities, traveling, watching her kids play soccer, trying out new restaurants/ coffee shops and relaxing by the fireplace at home.
Stacy - Dental Assistant
Stacy has been a dental assistant for 25 years. She graduated from Missouri College in 1995 with a degree in Dental Assisting. She completed her Expanded Functions Certificate in 2008 at Ozarks Technical Community College. In Stacy’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, or watching a movie.
Jeanine - Business Assistant
Jeanine has over 40 years of experience. She attended college and training at Mineral Area College. Jeanine enjoys playing tennis, and pickle ball likes to travel several times a year and is currently enjoying time with her new rescue kitten.
Kiley - Business Assistant & Dental Assistant
Kiley began at Kummer Family Dental as a Business Assistant in 2016, but has been in the dental field for 8 years. She attended Missouri College for dental assisting school and graduated on the Dean’s list in 2012 with her CDA. When Kiley is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and friends. She also likes spending time at her camping lot, enjoying the lake, and riding side by sides. Kiley started her career as a dental assistant but transitioned to the front office where she will be one of the first smiles you see when visiting our office, but you can still see her helping out in the back every once in a while. She is very well-informed when it comes to any dental questions or concerns you may have. Kummer Family Dental is happy to have her as apart of the team!
